Nadine Tayir has received both her Bachelor of Fine Arts Specialized Honours Degree in Dance and her Bachelor of Education in the Keele Fine Arts Division from York University.  Nadine was an accomplished competitive soloist, winning various awards from Competitions in both Canada and the United States, such as Grand Champion, Best of Show and Best Choreography.  She Graduated from Cawthra Park School of the Arts winning the award of “The Most Outstanding Graduating Student”.  Nadine completed her Elementary Cecchetti examinations and was an Associate Member of the CDTA. She was a Talent Scholarship student at both York

University, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center & danced with the Fred Benjamin Company in New York City. Nadine went on to be a Lead Dancer in the “Andy Williams Show” for four and a half years.
 
She also danced and sang in John Stuart’s “Legends in Concert”. Nadine has taught Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop in Los Angeles for several years.  She has taught recreational and competitive students, summer intensives and given workshops and lectures at George Brown College.
